2021 Subaru Forester
May 20 2021, Lachute Subaru
Subaru’s rugged and capable Forester SUV blends modern amenities and all-road and weather capabilities perfectly in the 2021 model that also boasts a few new features that customers are going to absolutely love.
Overhauled in 2019, the Subaru Forester has always been the Japanese automaker’s most rugged vehicle. While similarly sized to the Outback, the Forester offers more ride height for those particularly challenging off-road adventures (or Eastern Canada snowstorms, apparently). Featuring the ever-popular and oh-so efficient SUBARU BOXER engine as well as the company’s notable Symmetrical Full-Time AWD, the 2021 Subaru Forester has everything you’d want in an everyday driver.
With six trim levels available, the 2021 Subaru Forester comes equipped across the board with a 2.5L DOHC 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine that produces 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. A Lineatronic CVT is mated to the engine across the lineup, as well. Subaru’s X-MODE, a system that works directly with the engine and all-wheel-drive system to modulate torque and power for off-roading, is standard across the lineup, as well.
Every 2021 Subaru Forester features EyeSight, a safety system that works with a series of cameras in the windshield to prevent front collisions, amongst other things, and keep you (and those around you) as safe as possible on the road.
While not much has been changed or updated for 2021, there are a few new features in the Subaru Forester such as adaptive cruise control that now features lane-centring assist, as well as a tire pressure monitoring system that displays the pressure of each tire, LED license plate illuminators, and a rear-seat reminder that will remind you to check the backseat if the rear passenger door was opened after unlocking the Forester and beginning your drive.
All models feature dual USB ports up front, while the Touring, Sport, Limited and Premier also sport dual USB ports in the rear, as well.
